CCFA’s Partner Turner Construction devotes Turner’s Founders Day to Gregory School
The Center for Child and Family Achievement deeply appreciates the dedication and passion expressed by the Turner Construction Company on May 3rd, Turner Construction Company’s Founders Day. A energetic work crew of ten employees spent the day at Gregory School repairing a broken concrete wall, painting a chess board and hop-scotch, restoring the playground and painting colorful affirmations such as “Good Job Good Job” and CCFA’s “Read to Achieve”. The Turner group of volunteers, lead by James Folgia, made shelves for CCFA’s supply pantry, repaired and painted the front school entrance hand rail, landscaped front of school building with trees and flowers and cleaned surrounding areas. Students from the Kindergarten Class enjoyed seeing their playground transformed into a fun place to play! The days activities were coordinated by Ms. Jacquelynn M. Rice, who prepared light refreshments and gave a Turner Construction Company volunteer a Certificate of Appreciation.
