We are delighted that for our second Summer the Mercer County Park Commission has provided 5 scholarships for CCFA students to attend a week exploring nature, at Baldpate Nature Camp. Kyler Stokes, featured here is a Trenton,7th Grader who attended Baldpate Nature Camp for his second summer! Kyler shares his passion for nature, “ my dream was to go back to the Baldpate and see more and learn about the outdoors! I really like the walking trails and the sounds, it is an adventure when you find something and hold a frog in your hands”! Kyler and 3 other CCFA students returned to Baldpate for their second summer. Special Thank you, to Kelly Rypkema, Laurie Cleveland, Wanda McNeil, Renata Barnes and the Mercer County Park Commission’s Outdoor Equity Alliance for making this incredible experience available for students who live in Trenton.
