March 9th, was the first Parent Café in the 2022 series “Mommy & Me Cooking at Home” a Mindful Eating cooking class conducted on Zoom for 20 Gregory School Students and CCFA Cohort Families. This cooking class brings parents and children in a interactive learning and family fun environment to learn to plan, cook and explore healthy food choices. Each family received a supply bag complete with all the Ingredients needed to prepare the evenings recipe. Children were given a “fun fruit“ bag to taste a new fruit. Each CCFA Cohort student earned a $10 Gift Card for attending. Special Thanks to our Rutgers Cooperative Extension and NJ SNAP.
