Nassau Christian Center Donated Bibles and Christian Books for CCFA’s Annual Easter Basket Give Away
The Center for Child and Family Achievement’s Annual Easter Basket Give Away brought joy and hope to over 57 Trenton children and their siblings who received tote bags filled with Easter Candy and Bibles , Christian Books, Books 1-3 each of all subjects to promote reading during Spring Break. The Bibles and Christian Books donated by Nassau Christian Center, provides just the inspiration and Hope needed for children ages 7th -13th to have an encounter with the Word of God, planting seeds of faith.

In addition to the new Bibles and Books, each Easter Basket was filled with 7 bags of assorted chip snacks generously donated by Melissa Oliver of Odyssey International Productions. The colorful tote bags sponsored by One Simple Wish were full of lots Easter Candy, over 275 pieces including Peeps, M&M’s, Chocolate Bunny, Jelly Beans, Bubble Gum, graciously given by Jodi McElroy.
This year’s Easter Basket Give Away brings people together to celebrate and honor the Passion and Resurrection of Jesus Christ, with Easter Baskets given to CCFA’s SWIM to ROW girls, children in Rogers Gardens and Word Alive Center in remembrance of Bishop DC Thomas, Sr. a strategic partner and Urban Ministry collaborator, who passed away on March 11th. The beautifully decorated eggs and joyful looking tote bags were assembled by Ms. Teia Robertson, CCFA volunteer. Special Thanks , to Ms. Susan Rhoda-Hansen, Ms. Debbie Vennello Kenneth B. Moore and Rene’ Smith-Idowu for their support. What matters most to the children and families we serve is that they experience God’s love and are inspired to learn and achieve together!
