On June 1st CCFA sponsored parents and family members to attend wonderful day at Mercer County Park, participating in “Living a Powerful Life’s”, Take a Child Fishing Day! Children learned how to fish, alongside their parents, entire families enjoyed the beautiful Lake. Over 50 children engaged with their parents and grandparents in outdoor games, fishing lessons and a delicious picnic style lunch. Children were also given books to inspire reading and won prizes. CCFA’s partners the George H.and Estelle M.Sands Foundation, with special funding from the Princeton Area Community Foundation helped to make this day of environmental enrichment with outdoor exploration of nature possible for Trenton families . Transportation was provided for families. Very special thanks for Yolanda L.
