The Center for Child and Family Achievement partnered with Yolanda L. Robinson, Living a Powerful Life for her 15th Annual “Take a Child Fishing Day“ at Mercer County Park. This is CCFA’s 4th year as a sponsor, providing fishing rods for 15 children from Trenton ages 5yrs -16yrs.  In addition to fishing rods, CCFA ‘s “Read to Achieve“ also provided books to inspire summer reading. This event brought families together to learn the art of fishing, and enjoy games, sports, and lunch. Many of the families have been sharing in this activity from its beginning. It was a day of “intergenerational“ Family Fun! The 30 students were given certificates of achievement by Ms. Robinson for attending.
