9th Annual Books and Treats

On October 31st The Center for Child and Family Achievement will host “Books and Treats” at Cadwalader School in partnership with Christine’s Hope for Kids! Students will dress as Book Characters, their school theme is Harry Potter. 100 students will be given “Treat Bags” with candy, healthy snacks and fun items donated by Christine’s Hope for Kids! In addition all students grades Kindergarten to Third Grade will select 2-4 books for their home libraries, to promote reading and family literacy. Books are being donated by Susan and Todd Light, CCFA’s Literacy volunteers from Morrisville Presbyterian Church. CCFA’s “Book and Treats” is being coordinated by Ms.Patricia M. Planter, Parent Liaison at Cadwalader School.
