Princeton-Blairstown’s Virtual Summer Bridge Camp at the Gregory School in partnership with CCFA

Princeton-Blairstown Virtual Summer Bridge Camp in partnership with the Center for Child and Family Achievement, will take place over a three week period beginning Monday July 13th – Thursday July 30th. 50 Gregory School students in 5th Grade and raising 6th Graders will participate in a unique Zoom and Google Classroom “digital learning adventure”! The sessions will be held, three days a week, each day will include 2 hours engaged group instruction/activities and 1hour of independent exploration. The program will address SEL (social emotional learning), Literacy Skills Building, STEAM, crafts, chair yoga, origami, charades, at-home scavenger hunt, water Olympics and nature related math skills building games. Each student received a VSB “Swagbag” with materials for each session, Tee shirt, snacks, craft materials and books. CCFA Site Laison Ms. Jacquelynn M. Rice, provided parents and students a brief orientation to clarify expectations and fully engage parents. CCFA Classroom Facilitators will provide students with hands on support and encouragement. Messiah Lee Briggs, CCFA peer leader is featured helping to get things ready, attending last year’s Princeton-Blairstown Camp.
